HI all,

A couple of you have inquired recently about water testing for private wells by a lab other than the local state lab/health department.

I used a private lab, (MMET Laboratory) They test for hardness, minerals, metals, Ecoli, coliform and pH. The cost is $50. No formal registration is required. We do ours once a year. You can call and request a test kit, they mail it to you, you sample your water and send the kit back to them. Results can be emailed as well as mailed back to you.

The staff was very helpful when I called them for information about testing last year.
